West Sussex County Council (WSCC) has advised that Chennells Way will be closed for resurfacing works on 14th September 2021 from 08:00 to 18:00. An alternative route for traffic will be signed on site.  Please note: these works are weather dependant.

West Sussex County Council (WSCC) Temporary Traffic Regulation Order (TTRO) on the A264 Crawley Road

NOTICE is hereby given that not less than seven days from the date of this Notice West Sussex County Council intends to make an Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended), the effect of which will be to:-

• close the A264 Crawley Road Eastbound between Horsham Road Roundabout and Crawley Road Roundabout; and
• prohibit vehicles from driving at a speed of more than 40mph on a section of the A264 Crawley Road Westbound between Horsham Road Roundabout and a point 400 metres west of the Crawley Road Roundabout.

The Order is necessary to facilitate safe access and egress for the Tough Mudder Event 2021.

The Order will be operative from 0430 hours on 18 September 2021 until 2000 hours on 19 September 2021.

The A24/A264 between Broadbridge Heath and Rusper Road Roundabout as well as all roads approaching Great Daux (A24/A264) and Robin Hood roundabouts will be closed to through traffic for carriageway resurfacing. An alternative route for traffic will be signed on site where applicable.
