Public Forum

Members of the public are welcome to attend Parish Council Meetings. There are fifteen minutes set aside at the beginning of all Council and Committee meetings for members of the public  to ask questions, raise issues of concern, make a statement about local issues or draw relevant matters to the Council’s attention.

Please note the following guidelines when participating in the Public Forum: –

  • There is a time limit of three minutes per person. Any extension to this time will be at the discretion of the Chairman.
  • If you ask a question, either the Chairman of the meeting will respond or a written response will be given after the meeting.
  • If the issue you wish to raise at the meeting is not already on the agenda, you will need to give advance notice in writing by 12 noon of the day of the meeting
  • Once PUBLIC FORUM is completed, you are welcome to remain for the remainder of the meeting, but there will be no further opportunity for further comment
