There is one staff vacancy for a full time Parish Clerk and Responsible Finance Officer:

Applications are invited for the position of Parish Clerk and Responsible Financial Officer to manage the administration, personnel and finances of North Horsham Parish Council.

This large parish council comprises 19 councillors, a team of 11 staff and significant assets. It has a precept of just under £350,000. Candidates will hold a minimum of the Certificate in Local Council Administration (CiLCA) qualification, be familiar with accounting practices in either a detailed or supervisory role and have a record of proven, effective management of staff.

The applicant should be highly motivated and able to demonstrate experience in handling major projects and the ability to balance multiple projects would be an advantage. They must be an excellent communicator with a ppositive ‘can-do’ attitude. The job is based at Roffey Millennium Hall, Crawley Road, Horsham.

Rate of pay:- £45,859 – £58,975 (spinal point 42 – 52). The Council is offering a wide salary range, the starting salary will be negotiable within the range and commensurate with the experience of the person appointed.
