HDC – Roffey Recreation Ground – ‘Teen Zone’ Public Consultation

Horsham District Council are planning to create a teen zone at Roffey Recreation ground for teenage residents to enjoy, and would like to hear what residents think about their ideas.

HDC are looking to transform the area around the existing ball court, while not affecting the football pitch. The proposed teen zone area is highlighted in their interactive map on their website. HDC want this compact space to be exciting and well-used by our young people. They have worked up three ideas for the space: a ball zone, a gym zone and a chill zone.

Please help them by completing their short questionnaire by 30 June 2022 and telling them what you think.

As well as the teen zone, they will be adding additional seating and planting for all visitors to enjoy.

This project is funded by Section 106 contributions, which is money provided by housing developers working in the local area to improve and expand sport and recreation facilities for local people.

If you would like more information please visit their website – https://www.horsham.gov.uk/parks-and-countryside/roffey-recreation-ground-consultation
