North Horsham Meeting of the Electors

On the evening of Monday 15th April the Parish Council opens the doors of Roffey Millennium Hall, Crawley Road, Horsham RH12 4DT to local electors for their Annual Meeting.

The Annual Meeting is an opportunity for residents to speak with your local Parish Councillors and raise any concerns, talk about things going on in the parish or just find out more about what your Parish Council is doing.

The evening starts at 7pm with a glass of wine and other refreshments and then at 7.30pm the Chairman will give a very brief overview of the year. (Copies of the Annual Report will be available at the meeting and on the website) A lively presentation from the CEO at Age UK Horsham District will follow and there will be an opportunity to speak with a representative from Sussex Police.

Do come along, it will be great to meet you.

Annual Riverside Walk

The 2019 Horsham Riverside Walk will be held on SATURDAY 6th JULY and the Chairman of the Horsham Town Community Partnership hopes that you, your family and friends (and dog) will be able to join them.

The Walk will start at the Horsham Rugby Club car park at 10 am. The 13-mile route will be clock-wise (i.e. first refreshment point at Chesworth Farm) and finishing at the Rugby Club.

Not everyone will walk the total length and to help, a free mini bus will wait at certain points to transport walkers back to the car park.

On 6th July 2019 North Horsham Parish Council invites residents to take a photograph in the parish and send it to the Parish Council Office with a note of where it was taken.

Your photographs will be used as part of the “North Horsham Now and Then”  project, which aims to provide a photographic record of the parish on 6th July 2019 for future generations. This has been inspired by the Horsham District Year of Culture 2019 event.

In September 2019 residents will be invited to bring their old and new photographs to a morning’s reminiscence and chat about the photographs over a cup of tea and a piece of cake. More information about this event will follow.
