Are you interested in becoming a Parish Councillor?

If your new year resolution is to make a difference in your community in 2019, then remember that being a Parish Councillor is a great way to give something back to your community, to help have a say on its future and to represent the views of local people. The Council’s four year term ends in May 2019 and there will be vacancies to be filled.

Why not come along to Roffey Millennium Hall on Thursday 7th March 2019 at 6.45pm to meet existing Councillors and find out what it is really like being a Parish Councillor? Refreshments will be provided and afterwards there will be chance to attend the March Parish Council Meeting which starts at 7.30pm, so that you can really see what happens. If you have any questions about becoming a Councillor or would like to know more…contact the Clerk on 01403 750786. The National Association of Local Councils publication below gives more information about Local Councils and what they do.
