SGN notification: Essential gas main infrastructure work – one way traffic management in place for Parsonage Road

From the 19 July to 9 August, SGN contractors DJ Utilities will be carrying out essential gas main work on Parsonage Road. Due to the location of the gas main and working close to the railway line, it is necessary to have a lane closure in place on Parsonage Road from the junction of  Wimblehurst Road to the junction of the roundabout at Kings Road/ Crawley Road/Redkiln Way/Ruspar Road.

This closure will mean vehicle traffic will only be able to travel westbound  on Parsonage Road towards Wimblehurst Road for the duration of these works.   Access will be maintained to all side roads and properties on Parsonage Road, this will be via the one way re-direction.

Buses – the lane closure will impact the bus service, please contact your local bus provider to find out about changes to bus routes, bus stops and timetables.

We appreciate the nature of our work can be disruptive for local residents and road users, please can we reassure you we will be working as quickly and safely as possible to complete our essential gas work without delay.
