WSCC – Temporary Closure to Broadbridge Heath: Horsham Bypass (Northbound)

NOTICE is hereby given that not less than 7 days from the date of this Notice West Sussex County Council intends to make an Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the effect of which will be to close the Horsham Bypass northbound between Tower Hill and  Broadbridge Heath Bypass.    

The Order is necessary to protect public safety whilst repairs are undertaken to the railway bridge following a bridge strike.

The Order came into effect on 14 March 2022 and will last for 18 months or until the proposed works are completed, whichever is earlier. It is anticipated the works will take 2 weeks complete.

Any queries about the works to take place should be directed to Network Rail telephone number 07713 682232. Any queries about the effect of the Order on vehicles using the highway should be directed to WSCC, telephone number 01243 642105.
