Horsham District Council is a lead member of the Horsham District Community Safety Partnership and works alongside external colleagues on thematic actions to help improve safety issues across the district.

This short survey provides an opportunity for residents and stakeholders to share their views on road safety in the Horsham District. We would like to know what issues you are aware of and where they are happening. Your feedback will directly help shape the Partnership’s Road Safety Action Plan

The government has introduced a new Plan-making system (The Town and Country Planning (Local Planning) (England) Regulations 2026) and the District Council must start to prepare a new local plan, the Horsham District 2045.

At this very first stage of plan Horsham District are asking for your initial thoughts as to the issues that the new local plan for the District should consider, such as jobs, infrastructure, design and the environment and the types of homes needed.

This consultation is open for a period of four weeks, from 9am on 30 June 2026 to 5pm on 28 July 2026.

Primary school classes are invited to come up with a fun name for one of Horsham District Council’s new food waste collection trucks that are now travelling across the District.

The winning entry will win £50 for the school and a special visit before the end of term from the truck with the winning name on it.
